Meet Stéphanie

Before creating We Come From The Stars, I spent many years building companies in Belgium. I started young as a founder and, together with wonderful teams, helped grow two startups before selling my last company in 2024. After years in a fast-paced entrepreneurial world, I felt a growing desire to slow down and create something more aligned with nature, connection, and meaningful experiences.

Moving to Ibiza marked the beginning of a new chapter. Closer to the sea, the sun, and a more natural rhythm of life, I found myself drawn to the simplicity and beauty of sailing. With a love for bringing people together and a natural instinct for organising, I began curating small-group journeys at sea.

I’m naturally very sensitive to energy and group dynamics, and I take great care in creating a calm, safe, and welcoming atmosphere on board. My intention is for everyone to feel comfortable, grounded, and able to slow down — allowing the nervous system to gently unwind from the fast-paced lives many of us come from.

Today, I carefully select the boats, captains, and hostesses I work with — choosing people I trust and have worked with before. Together, we create a warm and relaxed environment where like-minded people can connect, recharge, and enjoy life at sea.

I hold an Advanced Open Water diving certification and continue deepening my connection with the ocean, currently training in eFoiling and spending as much time as possible on the water.

What started as a personal shift in lifestyle naturally grew into We Come From The Stars — a gentle, shared experience shaped by nature, connection, and the people who come on board.

“This way of traveling comes from how we choose to live. Somewhere along the way, we realized that time at sea does something special to people — it slows you down, opens you up, and reminds you of what really matters. “

When you sail, sleep under the stars, and move with nature instead of against it, something shifts. We created these journeys to share that feeling. To offer a space where people can disconnect from the noise, reconnect with themselves and each other, and remember that we are part of something much bigger than our daily lives. For us, sailing is more than travel — it’s a return.
